ambient housings

In the design of our housings we have paid particular attention to the following:

  • light tightness
  • electrostatic and magnetic screening
  • the use of high quality insultators and components to guarantee stability of components

A voltage divider is supplied with each housing but before ordering please decide on the HV polarity. We recommend positive HV for most applications, except analogue detection where the anode must be close to ground potential and negative HV must be used. Please speak to us if you are unsure of the best voltage divider for your application.

QL30 series - Ø30 mm end window photomultipliers.

B2 series - Ø52 mm end window photomultipliers.

  • accomodates Ø30, Ø38 and Ø52 end-window photomultipliers
  • magnetic shield and voltage divider fitted as standard
  • RF shielded version for electrically noisy environments
  • long barrel version for 155 mm and longer photomultipliers
  • flanged version, B2F, with integral 'O' ring, and light-tight seal
  • can incorporate amplifiers, amplifier-discriminators, gating circuits etc.
  • adaptor to fit onto vacuum systems available
B2/001 compact series.

Features include:

  • compact design
  • magnetic shielding and C647 voltage divider fitted as standard
  • flanged version, B2/100F, with integral 'O' ring, and light-tight seal
  • can incorporate amplifiers, amplifier-discriminators, gating circuits etc.
SWH series - Ø30 mm side window photomultipliers.
