Current Vacancies

June 2009: we currently have the following vacancies:

Electronics Design Engineer

Development Engineer - Photomultipliers

Electronics Design Engineer

ET Enterprises requires an Analogue Electronics Design Engineer for its expanding electronics design section.  The preferred candidate will have experience of analogue circuit design for up to 1 GHz bandwidth in low power, low noise circuits commonly used for optical detectors.  Experience in the simulation and test of circuits and the realization of products ready for production is also anticipated.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated an aptitude for simulation, design, and realization of high speed electronic circuitry.  Your skills and knowledge will be relevant to the design and realization of:

fast analogue amplifiers

amplifier discriminators

low noise, high efficiency, high-voltage power supplies

integrated combinations of the above

You will be proficient with Electrical and mechanical design software, and PSpice simulation software.  Additionally you are likely to be at least degree qualified in electronics or applied physics with relevant design and commercial experience and be comfortable working in a small customer focused engineering team.

Development Engineer - Photomultipliers

ET Enterprises requires a Development Engineer to join its Photomultiplier Development team.  The role will involve electron-optical simulation, mechanical design, the realization of prototype devices, and testing of device performance.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of ion-optics vacuum physics, and mechanical design using thin formed metal parts.  You are likely to have had experience with ion and electron simulation software and mechanical drawing software and will be at least degree qualified in physics, applied physics, or a relevant engineering discipline.  Alternatively you will be able to demonstrate a track record of work or experience relevant to vacuum devices like photomultipliers.
